NBC Sports Northwest Discontinued by Network Owner
Effective September 30, 2021, the network that owns NBC Sports Northwest has discontinued the channel as most of its sports coverage has been moved to ROOT Sports. All BCT Cable TV subscribers received notice of this channel lineup change in a mailed letter dated September 1, 2021, and BCT EZVideo subscribers were notified in their September 2021 billing statements. Coverage of the Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle Mariners, Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders, and Seattle Kraken will be available on ROOT Sports moving forward.
If you have TV service from BCT, ROOT Sports is available in the EZVideo Essentials tier on channel 34 and Cable TV Standard tiers on channel 28.
