On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, the login method for accessing your email messages via webmail will be changing. Instead of the previous form where your username and password were entered, you will instead be provided a link to click on which will take you to a new login page.

Access to your email via the webmail client can currently be found at this link:

webmail.bctonline.com

This link will automatically change to the new login process after 5AM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

The maintenance window is scheduled to start at 11PM Pacific Time on Monday, May 1, 2023, and should be completed by 5AM Pacific time on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Please be aware that during this update, access to your BCT email account through either webmail or desktop client like Outlook may not be accessible.

Once the maintenance is complete, the revised login page will give you access to a new email Account Recovery Management Option. Account Recovery is a secure method designed to provide access to your email account when you don't remember your password. In this new login environment, you will be able to register a cell phone number to receive a text message authentication code or a separate email address.

After you have set up Account Management Recovery options for your account, you can then change your password (through Forgot Password in the red circle example below) within the login environment, if you choose. Instructions on how to do this as well as Frequently Asked Questions are below.

When the new link is active, you will be greeted with a screen like the one below. Enter your BCT email and password as usual. Once inside the webmail environment, your email inbox, settings, and rules should appear and function as it did before.

Improving security and the user experience through self-management options like this are key to our ongoing commitment to you. Should you have any questions or challenges with the new link after the change is finished on May 2, 2023, please contact BCT tech support at www.bctelco.com/support or 503.632.3113.
