AGREEMENT You agree to sign up for BCT Wireless Service in accordance to your Customer Agreement.

EARLY TERMINATION
You may terminate your agreement to keep BCT Wireless before the expiration date by calling us at 503 632-3113 from any phone and paying an Early Termination Fee of $250.00 as liquidated damages. The Early Termination Fee will be automatically charged to your account if you terminate your service before the expiration date. BCT may terminate the agreement if you are in default and charge you the Early Termination Fee as liquidated damages. The Early Termination Fee is payable in addition to any outstanding charges for services or equipment on your BCT Wireless account. An Early Termination Fee will not be charged if you deactivate service within 14 days after activating your BCT Wireless phone. Limitations: Limitations apply on which, if any, other promotions, rebates or features may be combined with the BCT Wireless agreement. Contact a BCT Wireless representative for details on combining other promotions, rebates or features with the BCT Wireless agreement.

Your agreement to keep BCT Wireless as indicated in your Customer Agreement includes more than these specific provisions. The service plan you have chosen and the most recent BCT Wireless Terms and Conditions of services are also part of your agreement. You should read these provisions carefully. A copy of the Terms and Conditions comes with your BCT Wireless phone, but may not be the most recent version. You can request the most recent version of Terms and Conditions by calling a BCT Wireless Customer Care Consultant at 503 632-3113. Coverage may vary without notice.

BCT WIRELESS RETURN POLICY
General: Products purchased through BCT Wireless may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a refund of the purchase price (but not charges for wireless service). This return policy, including the number of days for return, may be changed without notice and the policy may not apply to certain products.

Handset Phones: If you are not satisfied with your purchase of a phone from BCT Wireless, you may return it for a full refund to: BCT Wireless, 15223 South Henrici Road, Oregon City, Oregon 97045. In order to receive a full refund of the original purchase price of any BCT Wireless phone, you must return the phone at your expense in an undamaged condition and complete with all accessories that came with the phone in the original box, with all the materials and package inserts within 14 days of your purchase of the BCT Wireless phone. A copy of your receipt must accompany the phone. BCT Wireless will net any outstanding balance on the account associated with the returned phone.

What is considered peak time?

6:00am – 6:59pm.

 

If I am on a call from 6:55pm to 7:10pm, will it be rated as a peak or off-peak call?

Calls are billed upon the origination time of the call.

 

Can I transfer my cell phone number?

Yes. In the U.S., wireless local numbers portability is a legally mandated service that allows the transfer of a cell phone number from one carrier to another. Transferring your phone number is free.

 

What should I do if I drop my cell phone in water?

Immediately remove the battery, this reduces the risk of a short circuit. Dry the battery with a towel and set aside to dry completely. Dry off the phone with a towel. Use cotton swabs to soak up water in crevices and on any fragile, exposed circuits. Then leave it in a warm dry area or near an air conditioner for three days before you attempt to replace the battery and turn it on.

 

Can I call mobile to mobile?

Yes. There may be costs associated for others that are not a BCT Wireless customer.

 

What are data measurements?

By occurrence, measurements for an Email: 10KB, Word Document: 70KB, Digital Picture (low residential): 500KB, High-Definition Photos: 5MB.

The average cost of purchasing a new handset is $299.99. Handset replacement eliminates the high cost associated with the purchase of a new phone. Handset replacement program is utilized with a $50 deductible for replacement. The handset may be new or refurbished. The handset replacement covers your handset as long as the premium is paid. Replacement coverage covers items that a manufacturer warranty does not such as: water damage, lost, and stolen coverage.

 

What is SMS?

Short Message Service (SMS) is a text messaging service component of phone, web, or mobile communication systems. SMS text messaging is the most widely used data application in the world.

What is PSMS? 

Premium Short Message Service (PSMS) allows you to participate in third party Text Messaging programs that charge fees above standard Text Messaging rates. These programs use 3 to 6 digit numbers called short codes in place of phone numbers.

 

What is MMS?

Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is a standard way to send messages that include multimedia content to and from mobile phones. It extends the core SMS (Short Message Service) capability that allowed exchange of text messages only up to 160 characters in length.

 

When am I able to upgrade my phone?
