Beaver Creek Cooperative Telephone Company, (BCT), was the
brain-child of a handful of men who met in 1904 and saw the potential
for a mutual telephone association. One hundred years later, BCT
is a member-owned, non-profit organization with over 5,000 subscribers
and over $8 million in gross revenues.
BCT maintains the same philosophy as it did in 1904: to provide high quality
telecommunication products and services to its members at the lowest possible
price. In the past one hundred years, the cooperative has come a very long way.
In 1910, BCT had just 17 telephone lines. Today that number has climbed to almost
5,000 telephone lines. In addition to traditional telephone service, BCT has expanded
to include top-notch cable services, broadband and wireless services, and much
more. With our wide range of services, BCT truly provides customers with one stop
shopping.
With an increasingly technology-dependent society, there are many things to
look forward to at BCT. The future looks even more promising than it did one hundred
years ago…
