Capital Credits are the profits that will be returned to the members once the Board of Directors has determined that it is economically feasible for the organization to do so.

Because the telecommunications industry is very capital intensive and BCT is a non-profit organization, we must find ways to keep our costs down. In order to achieve the lowest possible costs and deliver exceptional quality service, BCT uses Capital Credits to finance capital expenditures. By doing this we avoid finance charges and other costs that ultimately impact the price of the services we provide.

Even if you move out of the Cooperative's telephone service area, the credits you earned while you were a Member are yours. They may also be inherited by your children or relatives, they are yours for life.
